Archival references are something of a Nike Jordan specialty, especially when it comes to the AJ1. This Mid pairs together two aesthetics from past releases. First, and most obvious, is the colourway. It’s classic Chicago Bulls, teaming white, black and red across the leather upper. The metallic accents at the toe box, Swoosh and collar aren’t new to the model, either — they were first seen on the OGs back in ’85. Underfoot, things remain court-focused as ever with the usual two-tone Air-cushioned sole.
