Michael Jordan‘s signature footwear line is packed with a number of culture-shifting silhouettes, but if one were to boil it down to the model that tends to generate the most excitement, it would have to be the Air Jordan 1. This is especially true for its popular Retro High OG model which has this “Pollen” makeup. Its titular tone is responsible for dyeing areas such as the overlays, laces and Swooshes, while a black paint is distributed to the toe boxes, quarter paneling and the collars. The former is crafted with smoother leathers while the latter is engineered with tumbled textures. A subtle pinch of white also makes its presence felt on atop the tongues through its Nike Air branding. Given the nature of this pair’s color-blocking, many are drawing comparisons to the ever-popular “Wu Tang” Dunks that released in 1999. Bottom pieces string together its entire look with angelic midsoles and “Pollen” colored treading.
