The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt certainly lived up to its name upon its debut in 2020. As the Dunk craze kept growing, Nike chose to release the women’s exclusive model, introducing exaggerated dimensions that fit in with the ongoing “chunky” shoe movement that has since slowed down throughout 2021. For 2022, a proper sequel is hear, and surprisingly, Nike is leaving the bulky and boxy look behind, reverting back to the traditional form while supplying a new array of details that will certainly garner a polarizing response. Now visualized in a “Pale Ivory” colorway, the Dunk Low Disrupt 2 boasts a menu of design details that include a heel wrap, a floating overlay at the heel, floating lace collars, an added exterior eyelet at the toe-box, and a double-Swoosh presentation in both stitched embroidered form. The tongue is also a bit more padded, with the standard logo enlarged with the “DUNK” name beneath.
