Part of a sample collection during the 2010 World Basketball Festival, the Air Jordan 7 ‘Pantone’ generated enough heat that Nike released it to the public in the spring of 2017 as part of Jordan’s Summer ‘17 lineup. The ‘University Blue’ color is an homage to Jordan’s college days as a North Carolina Tarheel. Utilizing premium materials as part of Nike’s ‘Remastered’ construction, the shoe features a monochromatic nubuck upper and traditional Air Jordan 7 branding elements on the tongue, ankle, and heel. Also included in Jordan’s Summer 2017 lineup are the Air Jordan 11 Low 'University Blue,' Air Jordan 7 'University Blue,' Air Jordan 13 Low 'Brave Blue,’ Air Jordan 5 Premium, Air Jordan 1 High Decon in both pink and blue colorways, Air Jordan 13 Low 'Chutney,' and the Air Jordan 11 Low 'Barons.'
